VISUAL LANGUAGE: Project 2; More Progress

More progress based on feedback from critique today. Most of it is roughed in but they are headed towards my final direction; still need to add additional copy and work with color, but this give a basic idea of where I am headed and how I progressed from crit.

  1. The boat/city is very legible now - well resolved.

The full bleed (no white frame) is much stronger.

The first poster (posted on top) is most successful execution of "atlantic" (choice of color, bold weight).

Now you need to devote your time towards improved typography for everything else.

The tagline competes too much (too similar in size, too close in proximity) with Atlantic.

Work on better integration of "cruise line" and the atlantic orange bar.

Establish a grid (e.g. 6 column) for the info/facts. The grid will help determine column width as well as horizontal & vertical placement. Watch out for widows, don't indent line wraps. Try other colors beside orange for the info/fact headers.
