First off, I caught a glimpse of your blog post about being stuck on alcohol for connotations. I cannot see a glass jug without thinking of what delicious batch of beer I can ferment in it. I have been brewing my own beer for years, and have had many experiences looking at a full jug and anticipating drinking my concoction. But looking at the lighting, it seems dark and ominous, almost as if I would be scared of the contents. I understand my perception is skewed horribly from the normal, but alas, it feels more like a jug of poison. I guess it is the lack of an air lock (not expecting you to know) that gives me this feeling. with beer the jug is used for fermenting, not storage.
